SPECIALIST SUPPORT FOR ADDRESSING CONFLICT
Paul Doherty is a Certified Mediator with the Mediators’ Institute of Ireland who specialises in workplace and community mediation.
Paul is a leading organisational development consultant who has extensive experience of addressing conflict arising between individuals and within work-groups. He also has substantial experience of work in the community development sector and is able to address group-based conflict by combining mediation skills with the advanced facilitation techniques that are essential for effective community dispute resolution.
As well as being a mediator, Paul is trained in CINERGY® Conflict Management Coaching and is an accredited practitioner in Conflict Dynamics Profiling® with the Institute for Workplace Dynamics. He is also a qualified executive coach and an accredited practitioner in Happiness at Work® with the iOpener Institute.
Paul’s work in conflict resolution is grounded in the experience he has gained in a wide-ranging career in human capacity-building in which he has served as Training Officer with Gloucestershire Health Education Services, Country Representative for Nepal with Oxfam UK/Ireland, Programme Manager with Avondhu Local Development Partnership, Director with The Social and Health Education Project (SHEP) and Leadership Development Manager with Genio. He delivers organisational development consulting services through Paul Doherty Consulting.
